Our Amazing Race at Gold Reef City is the most popular team building activity in South Africa. Our Amazing Race Team Building has low physical requirements, fit for ages, and no-one is forced to go on the rides – some people have to take pics, and others have to solve riddles. Teams have to solve riddles, each with different points, and then go to the Anaconda, Golden Loop, Jozi Express, Miners Revenge, UFO, High Flying Maverick and the Storm Chaser etc. You can also accumulate points with the “smaller rides” that count one point each.
The second part of our Amazing Race consists of no running, has low physical requirements and is fit for all ages. Our Amazing Race is hilarious and is a race against imagination and creativity. Teams start with a short detour, then they have to solve riddles, find interesting places that do not exist, and then WhatsApp a Group Photo as proof that they have been there. Yip, they will have to use their imagination!
09h00 Arrival Coffee and Giant Muffins at Barney's
Let us divide the teams without being prejudiced. The goal is to let everybody interact like never before, the buddies, clicks and friends in fun group activities. Laughter guaranteed in 30 seconds. Everybody gets a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. About ten people per team works great for a team building event.
Amazing Race Thrill Rides Team Building
Our Amazing Race has no running and consists of a short walk, is fit for all ages, and no-one is forced to go on the rides. At least four people per team have to go on the rides, while others have to take pics, and others have to solve riddles. Each riddle will point to a Thrill Ride. Rides include the Anaconda, Dream Boat, Golden Loop, Jozi Express, Miners Revenge, UFO, High Flying Maverick and the Storm Chaser etc. Other rides count one point. Take special note that the Thrill Ride Bracelets at Gold Reef City are printed on the morning before the event, are not refundable if less people arrive, and cannot be transferred to another day.

13h00 Buffet Lunch and Soft Drink at Barney's
The Buffet Lunch usually consist of a typical Tsogo Sun Lunch Buffet with of Beef Stew, Chicken, Curry or and Seafood, Roast Chicken, Rice, Pasta, Sauces, Assorted Veggies, Baby Potatoes, a table with Assorted Cheese & Salads, and a Desert Table with Malva Pudding and Custard, and Assorted Desserts. This menu is not cast and stone, and may vary from day to day. If all the bookings from all the companies that day are less than 30 people, delegates will order from a set menu with the same value.

Everybody dine at the same table. Halal and Vegetarian Meals are ordered on arrival from ANAT, Barcelos, Mochachos, Ocean Basket etc. We regret, no Kosher or Gluten Free Meals are available, and you may bring your own.

Your Thrill Ride bracelet includes access to all major rides. Popular Thrill Rides include The Golden Loop, Anaconda, UFO, Log Ride, River Rapids, Jozi Express, Miner's Revenge, Tower of Terror, Storm Chaser, The High Flying Maverick, Runaway Train, Giant Wheel, Lazy Boats, 4D Theatre, Tornado, etc... and enjoy all the other amazing experiences at Gold Reef City. The Theme Park closes at 17:00.
