Team Building Midrand in a MasterChef BraaiMaster, Potjiekos Competitions, Cook Off and Escape Room Games. Our team building venue in Midrand has easy access to the N1 highway on the other side of the Mall of Africa, near the mosque in Midrand, and a populate team building venue for many corporates such as Vodacom, Microsoft, Neotel, Eskom, Cell C, BASF, Old Mutual, Adcock Ingram and Altech – the ideal team building venue in Midrand situated between Centurion and Sandton. The event can start at any time, and the team building itinerary is about three to four hours, including the MasterChef Competition. Optional team building activities include Traditional Games, Escape Room and Green Screen Movie Making.

09h20 Ice Breakers, Group Activities, and Dividing Teams
The entire group do fun activities, at some time the mix of buddies and friends will be split apart. Then everybody get a number. All the “number 1’s” would be in a team, and all the “number 2’s” in another team, etc. About ten people per team works great for a team building event.
11h00 MasterChef BraaiMaster
This BraaiMaster takes place at the end of the maze, in the middle of the maze. Each team get a Mystery Box with a new braai, charcoal, firelighters, chef hats, aprons, and utensils. Mystery Boxes also may include herbs, spices, sauces, plastic chrome cutlery and Crockery etc, and teams have to “trade” or “swop” these goodies to braai. Meat include Beef, Lamb, Chicken, and Spicy Wors (all meat is halaal, ask for butcher’s receipt). Teams have to make kebabs or skewers that represents a cuisine from a country. Kebabs and Skewers are popular Street Food in Greece, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Portugal, Pakistan, India, Thailand, and China. Popular kebabs include Sosatie, Souvlaki, Kofta Kebabs (meatballs), Tikka Chicken and Tandoori Masala. Take the braai home after the event.

Our Amazing Race has low physical requirements and is fit for all ages. Each of our venues have their own unique Amazing Race. Teams start with a short detour, then they have to find interesting places and WhatsApp a group photo, find puzzles of actual places, and finally they finish by finding an iconic venue. These photos are shown in a slide slow during lunch. Our Amazing Race is hilarious and requires lots of imagination and creativity.

The Braai is Served with Soft Drinks
The braai is served with Pap, Gravy, 6 Assorted Salads, and Garlic Rolls. Paper plates and plastic cutlery are available for halal meals. Soft Drinks include 340ml Coke, Sprite, Bottled Water etc.

- Halaal Meals - all meat, produce, and sauces are halaal, ask for receipt from the Laudium Halaal Butchery or the Forsmay Muslim Butchery in Fordsburg, New Braais for halaal, and new Utensils and Chrome Plastic Cutlery and Crockery. Paper plates.
- Kosher Meals - we regret, there are no Kosher Restaurants near the venue. You may bring your own Kosher Meat or Meals

Four vouchers per person. Vouchers can be exchanged for local beers, ciders, and wine etc. Sprits are also available, but not included.
*Escape Room Games (optional, ±1hr)
Teams have 60 minutes to find the most dollars and bribe the guards. Our Escape Room have five chapters and include a world map with a treasure hunt where they must find the hidden dollars, a map with castles, Sun Compass, and QR Codes that leads to a Scavenger Hunt, and counting the Egyptian Pyramids for more dollars. Finally teams can earn bonus dollars by singing a song to distract the guards. Our Escape Room is an Indiana Jones movie twisted with British humour, and very easy.

The most popular team building event in SA. teams have to do act in front of a Green Screen without knowing why. The video is then edited in the Amazing Race and shown after lunch - hilarious. You do get a copy of the video on a memory stick.
*Traditional Games (optional, ±1hr)
Teams compete in an array of traditional games, as long as time permits. Popular games include Bharti (Foosball), Blind Folded Minefield, Magic Carpet, Hula Hoop Race, Egg and Spoon Race, Three Legged Race etc.
The MasterChef BraaiMaster, Potjiekos and Cook Off Competitions are popular team building events in Midrand. The venue is behind the Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, at a prominent Dive School with a pool, lapa, wooden deck and bar – Flippers to Fins.
